Why Is God Laughing?

My mother has always been a big fan of Deepak Chopra and she gave me this book to read a few weeks ago. My instant reaction after reading the first few pages was, "I already know all of this. This book is a waste of my time," but as I continued reading and thought about the concepts that were being articulated, I realized how closed I have been. Once you open your mind and truly begin the process of personal development, you realize that you are the creator of your own universe. Your sadness, your unhappiness, your suffering, is all the result of your insecurity ... your ego.

And even if you change just one fraction of your thoughts, in one aspect of your life, it's amazing what one can accomplish, achieve, but you do need to be willing to learn and for those of us who have no one to learn from, ask the universe for an angel, or a spiritual guide, and he, she, or it, will come. Angels aren't metaphysical beings dressed in white with wings, they are you ... they are me ... they are everyone, everywhere, you just have to choose to see them and let them in your life. I have met a few and have a few angels in my life and I am eternally grateful for them.
