An Inconvenient Truth

This truly was the most terrifying film that I have ever seen. It does make one realize just how much of a dire situation the world is in. I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of sadness. The cruelty that we inflict on ourselves and on the world around us - there's just no excuse for it. But perhaps what was most evident was that we are living in a world where respect is becoming a dying character trait. If we buy into the selfishness that is sold to us on a daily basis, how can we do anything but self-destruct?
